SheScentIt's Tahiti Cocktail 4 Butter Moisture Correct Overnight Masque
Heavy Seal (S-Curl, DIY SB, PBN Mango Tea Butter)
My hair still feels really moisturized from my M&S last night so I won't be doing any of that tonight. I do have to color, wash and treat it tomorrow after church however.
DIY SB Blend
Melted some shea, added some grease to seal in my Redken Extreme Anti-Snap Leave-in. My hair is so moist and happy .
DIY SB Blend & Cren Scalp Drops
DIY SB Blend and Oyin "Oh My Glide"
DIY SB Blend and Alter Ego Cren Scalp Drops
Still using my shea mix regularly. I want to get a fragrance oil because the smokey scents of the shea and the jbco have it smelling like a forest fire lol. It dissipates at least.
.... True. True.
blue majic supergrow/fenugreek oil
I wonder if My Honey Child hair type 4 hair creme melts down easily and can be mixed with an oil?
Yes, I think it could.
I'm going to try it. I have 3/4 of a container and it's going nowhere.
Do you have a suggestion of an oil I can mix it with to move it more to a liquid form?
I don't have it in front of me. I will check the ingredients when I get a chance.
I don't have it in front of me either but I think it would depend on the consistency you are ultimately looking for and measure out your ratios of Type4 to Oil (of choice).
I would think Castor, Olive or something like that would make it heavier/oilier and something like Grapeseed, Sweet Almond, Rice Bran, Hemp Seed, Pure Argan, Vitamin E would make it somewhat lighter and less oily.
What are your thoughts?
I looked at the ingredients and it is mostly oils and honey, which is interesting since it is so waxy. It doesn't have the best oils. Maybe I will try a light oil.
Didn't see this before I posted. You are right about the oils. I think I should go with a lighter oil.
I have enough of it that I can do both.
Infused hibiscus oil on my scalp last night.
