    Have you looked at the LCLbeauty.com steamers? They have one that you can use tap water in, and it's on sale for 88 dollars with free shipping.

    Bumping... My steamer has given up the ghost.

    I'm willing to pay a little more for a more durable one.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

    FYI- my last one was from LCL beauty and it was garbage.

    I wouldn't actually unless you just have to have one. I had the LCL beauty one for two years and it didnt do anything for me that a hot air dyer wouldnt do. I think its nice to have but not essential.

    @Smiley79 I have the heautiful table top steamer and I have had it for about 4 years. When I first got it my hair was really dry and I used it weekly with great success. I do not use it as frequently anymore but my cousins still use it on a regular basis. I think it was well worth the money.

    I just realized that I've had my steamer for 6 years. I got the $99 no name brand from Amazon.
